Narrative:Air Canada flight 932 from Thunder Bay to Toronto was hijacked by a 24-year old American male passenger shortly before arrival at Toronto. He demanded to be flown to Havana, Cuba.
On January 25, 1972, Canada officially asked Cuba to extradite the hijacker but Cuba didn't respond to the request.
In 2001, he was arrested in New York.
This was the first successful hijacking in Canada.
