Narrative:B-25J Mitchell #43-28070, with the 554th Base Unit, was lost on a flight over the South Atlantic Ocean, 270 miles east of Natal, Brazil, while on a ferrying flight to Ascension Island, then onward
to Casablanca, Morocco. All six airmen aboard were declared dead while missing.
