Republic F-84E-1-RE Thunderjet 49-2305, 53rd FBS, 36th FBW, USAF: Written off (damaged beyond repair) January 15 1951 when crashed due to engine fire near Walkertshofen, 15 miles South West of Bobingen, Bavaria, West Germany. Pilot Duncan H McKenzie, USAF bailed out successfully.

Walkertshofen is a municipality in the district of Augsburg in Bavaria in Germany.
