Narrative:Piper PA-23-250 Aztec N5951Y: Missing (and therefore presumed written off (damaged beyond repair)) August 27 1966 when went missing en-route between Springfield, Illinois and Detroit, Michigan. The Body of one passenger was found in Lake Michigan on September 4, 1966. Damage to airframe, other injuries to the other two persons on board (pilot and one other passenger) are Presumed. No trace of the aircraft wreckage was ever found, so no cause of the accident could be attributed
