Narrative:
Moving a herd of reindeers. After a sharp noice, the engine shook and stopped. The helicopter was hovering at an altitude of 10-12 m, lost altitude fast and hits terrain (bog) hard (low speed, high sinkrate), rotorblades also strikes terrain.

The connection between turbine and compressor (a 'splined adapter') failed due to fatigue.

Pilot and "passenger" was hurt but could leave the helicopter. One was airlifted but the other one had to be transported by (road) ambulance some 200 km to hospital.
