Took off from Bertangles, France. Failed to return from tactical reconnaisance over St. Quentin and crashed near Creil. Possibly that claimed by Oberfw Schmid of 1./JG2 over Beauvais. Both crew killed

Flying Officer (Pilot) Thomas West Walker, RAF (RAFO) 71008, age 32, killed in action 18/05/1940
Corporal (Wireless Op./Air Gunner) Eric Tornane. Baillie, RAF 507775, age 31, killed in action 18/05/1940

Both crew fatalities were buried at Creil Communal Cemetery, Oise, France
