PROBABLE CAUSE:IMPROPER PLANNING/DECISION BY THE PILOT, WHICH RESULTED IN HIS FAILURE (OR INABILITY) TO ALIGN THE ACFT WITH THE RUNWAY DURING THE LANDING. THE LOW CEILING, TAILWIND, AND DITCH WERE RELATED FACTORS.
