Narrative:DUE TO A LOW FUEL STATE, THE PILOT ELECTED TO MAKE A PRECAUTIONARY LANDING ON A ROAD NEAR JASPER, FL. POWER LINES AND POLES FORCED THE PILOT TO LAND IN UNIMPROVED TERRAIN NEXT TO THE ROAD. DURING TOUCH DOWN THE LEFT WING STRUCK A DIRT BANK.
EXAMINATION OF THE WRECKAGE REVEALED THAT 3 GALLONS OF FUEL REMAINED IN THE LEFT WING TANK. ALL OTHER TANKS WERE EMPTY.
The National Transportation Safety Board determines the probable cause(s) of this accident to be:
