Narrative:
c/no 858: DH.60G Moth [Gipsy I] sold to L J Beaudoin, Canada with C of A 1636 issued 1.10.28; delivered to DH Canada at Mount Dennis 18.10.28. Registered as G-CAVJ [C of R 515] 2.10.28 to L J Beaudoin, Montreal. Sold 20.7.29 (but not re-registered) to G K Trim, Montreal.

Capsized on the Montreal River, Ontario 27.7.29 whilst being towed to seaplane base during storm. Registration G-CAVJ cancelled as damaged beyond repair.

The Montreal River or Montreal River Harbour (at approx. coordinates 47°14′25″N 84°38′45″W) is a very small community located at the mouth of the Montreal River just south of Lake Superior Provincial Park. It should not be confused with the much more famous city of Montreal, Quebec.
