Narrative:
Suffered an explosion of the starboard engine just after takeoff from Shaw AFB, SC on flight intended for Labrador. Pilot flew to Donaldson AFB, Greenville, SC where he made a crash-landing. Crew escaped serious injury. Small fire extingushed.
