Narrative:Written off 17/03/1970 when the aircraft stalled and crashed while on approach to Linton-on-Ouse, North Yorkshire, remains Struck off Charge 17/03/1970 as CAT 5(C) and reduced to spares and produce. Student Pilot was a foreign national who was rescued from the wreckage by a very brave QFI who ran from his nearby married quarter. Student then ran to the nearby Officers' Mess, went to bed and claimed it was not him who had crashed the plane!
