First Registered as G-AELK (C of R 7191) 17.9.36 to F Hills & Sons Ltd. A to F 101 issued 11.9.36. Delivered by road to Barton 15.9.36; first flight 18.9.36. Sold (but not re-registered) 9.36 to Ralph Jaggar, York (but based at Barton, Lancashire).
Written off (damaged beyond repair) when crashed on takeoff from Chorley, Lancashire 7.6.37. Aircraft came down at Abbey Village, Chorley, Lancashire. Passenger Mrs Ivy Lilian Hughes (33) killed, and pilot John Stubbs injured. Registration G-AELK cancelled 7.6.37 due to "destruction or permanent withdrawl from use of aircraft"
NOTE: Some sources (see link #5) give the crash location as "Crashed, 9.4.37 between Aldwark and Flawith, North Yorkshire".
