Narrative:Takeoff at 15:59 hrs for an operation against Essen.
The aircraft was hit by Flak of Flakgruppe Essen and crashed in the Schürmannstraße.
Six of the crew are buried at the Reichswald Forest War Cemetery.
Flying Officer Leon Milner was made a prisoner of war but was murdered when thrown off a bridge by the civilian population. He has no known grave.
