27/02/1960, WM572 ("457") De Havilland Sea Venom FAW21 of 893 Squadron FAA RN was written off when it force-landed in a field near Dreghorn, Ayrshire after the engine had been shut down due to a fire warning; remains to Staravia, Ascot until 1964
