Narrative:On 9/10/1988, Suffered engine failure at 400 feet & force landed in field 1 mile from Biggin Hill Airfield, Kent while climbing out. Engine failed due to fuel/water contamination.(The aircraft had been standing outside at Biggin Hill in heavy rain). After recovery to Biggin Hill, half a pint of water was later drained from the fuel tanks.
Damage sustained to airframe: Per the AAIB report "minor damage to port wing"
