Narrative:While on a Feindflug (operational sortie), the aircraft was hit by a Mosquito night fighter and suffered engine damage (Motorschaden).
The aircraft crashed into the woods along the Steigerwald-Höhenstraße road.
Two crew members died in the crash. One survived:
