Built by Taylorcraft Auster for the RAF as LB382: Stored at Rearsby until delivered to 20 MU RAF Aston Down, Gloucestershire, on 20/1/43 for release to 655 Squadron on 3/2/43. Exactly two months later LB382 was transferred to 657 Squadron briefly, being returned to 20 MU Aston Down for storage on 1/5/43. Eventually, on 14/1/46 it was sold back to Taylorcraft and civilianised as G-AHHZ
First civil registered (C of R 10073/1; C of A 7924) on 12/7/46 to Auster Aircraft, Rearsby, Leicestershire, Registration cancelled/lapsed upon sale 1/7/46. Sold on and re-registered (C of R 10073/2) the same day (1/7/46) to Nottingham Flying Club, Tollerton, Nottingham. Registration cancelled/lapsed upon sale 11/11/46
Re-registered (10073/3) on 7/2/47 to Horace Frederick Fulford, Dinnington. Registration cancelled/lapsed 10/1/48 upon sale. Sold on and re-registered (C of R 10073/4) on 4/2/48 to T. Shipside Ltd., Tollerton, Nottingham, Registration cancelled/lapsed upon sale 14/8/48

Written off (damaged beyond repair) when crashed at Snarford, Lincolnshire, on 15/10/1950. Registration G-AHHZ belatedly cancelled 20/2/1959 as "withdrawn from use (see file)". The reported crash location of Snarford is a village and civil parish in the West Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated approximately 9 miles (14 km) north-east from the city and county town of Lincoln and 6 miles (10 km) south-west from the town of Market Rasen. It is approximately 8 miles north west of Wragby, from where the Auster took off.
