Second prototype plane of Mitsubishi Regional Jet MRJ-200, performing test and certification flights based at Grant County International Airport/Moses Lake, suffered an in-flight engine failure at about 5500 feet and about 170 km west of Portland, OR. The plane diverted to Portland International Airport, OR (PDX/KPDX) where a safe landing was carried out. No personal injuries were reported. Some damages in the No.1 engine (PW1200G) was found after landing.
