Narrative:
Took off from RAF Wyton at 17:48 for Munster. Whilst during the course of the operation the crew managed to fight off no less that 15 attacks from the Nachtjagders. Previously the aircraft had been caught by the searchlights and was forced to go down to 3,000ft before escaping. The aircraft crashed upon returning to base.Three of the crew were injured but it is not known which ones.
