Narrative:First registered (C of R 2523) as G-AAWW 17.4.30 to Major E.F. Stephens. Sold on and re-registered to W.L. Runciman, Cramlington Aerodrome, Cramlington, Northumberland. Sold on and re-registered (C of R 3254) 12.6.31 to British Railway Traffic & Electric Co, London SW.1 (aircraft based at Croydon Airport, Croydon, Surrey).
Written off (damaged beyond repair) 27.8.31 when crashed at Croydon Airport, Croydon, Surrey. Pilot, Flight Lt Walter Fraser Anderson DSO DFC (Ret) & 2 passengers unhurt. Registration G-AAWW cancelled by the Air Ministry 2.2.33 due to "destruction or permanent withdrawl from use of aircraft"
