Narrative:
The aircraft suffered a bird ingestion in engine no.2 after takeoff from Puerto Plata-Gregorio Luperón International Airport.

Cause:
The number 2 engine of the aircraft suffered a bird ingestion, corresponding to a White Heron (Ardea Alba), as a result of the impact the blades in positions 14, 15, 16 and 17 suffered damage, this produced vibrations of high frequencies in said engine , forcing the crew to reduce the power to reduce vibrations and continue the flight to the Punta Cana International Airport, where they made an emergency landing.
