Anson 6118 of RAF No. 5 SFTS (Service Flying Training School) at Brantford, ON, was
on a scheduled dual instruction in precautionary landing training. On approach sequence, the engines failed to respond to throttles resulting in a forced landing and tail plane hitting a fence post in a field near Boston ON. There was slight damage to the tail. The crew of three were uninjured. The engine choked when throttles were opened too quickly. Instructor was found to have failed to pay enough attention to an inexperienced pupil.
