Narrative:
A small panel door on a wing had shifted and was partly blocking an air intake after 15 minutes in flight. Pilot F/O Gerald McCaughey (26) made a high speed forced landing, ground looped and ran into a snow bank, shearing off the landing gear and damaging the auxiliary fuel tanks.
