Narrative:Takeoff at 18:01 hrs for an operation to Berlin.
The aircraft was damaged by night fighter pilot Oberleutnant Wilhelm Johnen of the 5./NJG 5 (based at Schleswig airfield), who was flying a Bf 110 G-4. Three crew members managed to bail out in time.
