A Cessna U206G Stationair 6 II (Robertson STOL conv.) ditched into the waters of the Coral Sea offshore Happy Valley, Fraser Island, Queensland, and partly submerged. The two occupants swam to shore with minor injuries.
The aircraft has been recovered from the ocean, the engine and wings had separated from the fuselage.
