Narrative:
The aeroplane had departed from Midden Zeeland Airport for a recreational VFR flight to Ameland Airport. While taxing the nose landing gear collapsed due to a technical malfunction. The pilot shut the engine down. Two days before the occurrence took place, the aeroplane had undergone its annual 100 hours inspection, were no particularities were found. An unevenness in the taxiway surface may have contributed to the nose landing gear to collapse.
