Narrative:
Following a fuel exhaustion event, the aircraft ditched to the waters of the Lower Keys, about 20 miles NW of Key West, Florida. The airplane sustained unreported damage and the two people onboard were rescued and transported to Key West with no injuries of any type. Aircraft left KCGC with 5-6 hours of fuel. Apparent fuel breach or leak in flight due to a mechanical failure.
