The aircraft took off from the Airport of Ubatuba (SDUB), Ubatuba, SP, bound for the Campo de Marte (SBMT), São Paulo, SP, in order to carry out a private flight, with a pilot on board. Near the Itaquera position, the pilot reported having an engine failure and requested a single-engine approach to Campo de Marte. During the landing procedure the pilot decided to go around. The aircraft collided with the ground, on Braz Leme Av., just after the runway 12. The aircraft sustained substantial damage. The crew member suffered fatal injuries.
