The pilot stated that he was in a hurry after landing and exited the runway early (before the taxiway). He said he was not paying attention and the airplane hit a taxiway sign and flipped over. The vertical stabilizer and rudder were substantially damaged when the tail impacted the ground. The pilot indicated that there were no mechanical malfunctions with the airplane that would have precluded normal operation.
