Narrative:
The pilot died after a plane crash near Parque de Exposição Dirceu Arcoverde in the city of Teresina, Piauí. The aircraft lost height after departure, crashed into trees and exploded.

The aircraft had its Airworthiness Certificate cancelled in December 2009. The pilot wanted to evaluate the aeroplane conditions and agreed with the maintenance firm to conduct engine runup and taxi tests. He signed a term of responsibility, registering his awareness that the aircraft was not airworthy.
The aircraft was then seen to taxi to the runway and depart.
