Narrative:
While taxiing to the runway, the instructor and student heard an unusual noise. The instructor therefore decided to return to the platform. A firefighter gestured to turn off the engine. After they did this and got out, they found that the tow bar was still in the nose wheel and that the three propeller blades had been damaged.
