The aircraft took off from Cavaco Island (SIVA), Angra dos Reis - RJ, bound for Hotel do Bosque with a pilot on board. During the landing approach, the aircraft crashed into a power transmission tower. The aircraft sustained substantial damage. The pilot was fatally injured. There was damage to the power grid, and the site was left without power due to the rupture of the cables.
