Narrative:Percival Prentice T.Mk.1 VS632, 1 FTS, RAF: delivered 29/7/1949. Written off 29/8/1952, when crashed near Aston Somerville, four miles west of Broadway, Worcestershire. On approaching some trees, the pupil pilot was instructed to execute a steep turn at 300 feet agl. However, during the turn, the aircraft lost height, and the starboard wing struck the ground.
Both crew:
Squadron Leader M S Crotty (QFI Flying Instructor) and Acting Pilot Officer J Archer (Pupil Pilot under Training) - sustained injuries
