Ex-RAF Avro 504K E4164 (former RAF serial used on registration documentation in lieu of any official constructors number). First civil registered as G-EAIR on 07.08.19 to Aircraft Transport & Travel Ltd. Re-registered 02.09.21 to Surrey Flying Services Ltd.

Written off 11.08.23 when crashed at Hayling Island, Hampshire. The two persons on board - George Leslie Haydon (pilot) and Captain Jocelyn Achille Edwin Long (passenger) - were injured. A contemporary newspaper report gives further details ("Portsmouth Evening News" - Monday 13 August 1923):

"AEROPLANE MISHAP.
Embedded in Hayling Foreshore.
A private aeroplane, which had been chartered by Capt. J. A. E. Long, of Southsea (son of Mr. C. E. B. Long, of Fareham), to get him to Hayling Island speedily, had a mishap in landing near Sinah Farm, on Saturday morning, and became embedded in the soft foreshore. Capt. Long was badly cut about the face, and was attended by Dr. May, of Hayling. The pilot was also injured, but not seriously".

Registration G-EAIR cancelled 21.8.23 due to "destruction or permanent withdrawl from use of aircraft"
