Narrative:Avro Anson T.21 VS580/"FFI-N", 1 ANS (Air Navigation School) RAF: Written off 1/1/1951. Shortly after take off from RAF Hullavington, while in initial climb, the aircraft stalled and crash landed in a field at Stanton St. Quinton, Wiltshire. Both crew members were unhurt while the aircraft was damaged beyond repair. It was reported that both engines lost power shortly after rotation for unknown reason. The crew was engaged in a local training mission.
The reported crash location of Stanton St. Quintin is a small village and civil parish in the county of Wiltshire in England. It is about 4 miles (6.4 km) north of Chippenham and 5 miles (8.0 km) south of Malmesbury at approximate co ordinates 51.518°N 2.136°W
