A Diamond DA40DS Diamond Star took off from Cihang General Airport, on a the flight experience mission. There were three people on board, one pilot and two passengers.
On the east side of Runway 13 the engine lost power. The pilot chose to make an emergency landing. The occupants suffered minor injuries and the fuselage was damaged.
