Narrative:
Third of three aircraft carrying out bombing of Mau Mau positions near Nyeri, between the Aberdare Range and Mt Kenya. Hit by shrapnel from exploding bombs, aircraft badly damaged. Flight engineer Sergeant Louis J Pinn was injured and died of wounds.
