Narrative:The commercial certificated pilot was landing a wheel-equipped airplane on an asphalt road near a rural ranch during a Title 14, CFR part 91 business flight. During the landing flare, the airplane stalled and the nose wheel hit the roadway, collapsing the nose landing gear. The airplane then veered off the roadway and nosed over.
Probable Cause: The pilot's failure to maintain adequate airspeed to preclude a stall during the landing flare/touchdown, which resulted in a hard landing, a collapsed nose gear assembly, and a nose over. A factor associated with the accident was an inadvertent stall.
