Narrative:During aerial survey operations, the remotely piloted aircraft became unresponsive to control inputs and pitched down, colliding with terrain. The RPA was destroyed. The manufacturer's inspection revealed faulty firmware on the intelligent battery packs to be the cause of the collision.
