Narrative:
A Jabiru UL-450 Calypso crashed shortly after takeoff from Damyns Hall Aerodrome (EGML), Upminster, Essex.
Both occupants sustained some injuries and were taken to hospital and the ultralight was written off.

AAIB deployed a team to the site.
