Narrative:
Presumed written off (damaged beyond repair) when went missing on a flight between Sacremento and Shelter Cove, Humboldt County, California, on 21 June 1974. The two persons on board (the 59-year-old pilot and one passenger) are also presumed killed. The aircraft is likely to have crashed into the Pacific Ocean, off the coast of Northern California.

The aforesaid presumption is due to no trace of any wreckage being found, nor any trace of the two persons on board

Registration N5885L belatedly cancelled by the FAA 1 February 2013 (39 years later!) as "expired"
