Narrative:
Pour faciliter l'embarquement de passager à la rivière George, le pilote du AS350B2 a choisi d'atterrir avec un vent de sa gauche. Au toucher du sol, alors que l'appareil était encore léger sur le train d'atterrissage, le pilote a senti le patin droit s'accrocher dans la végétation. L'appareil s'est soudainement libéré et a commencé à basculer vers la gauche. Le pilote l'a rapidement ramené au sol. L'hélicoptère s'est posé lourdement. Seuls les patins ont touché le sol mais l'impact a été suffisament important pour froisser le revêtement de la poutre de queue.
