Narrative:The wing of the de Havilland DH.82A Tiger Moth clipped the mast of The Wrest, a vessel sitting on Bull Bay, while flying low above it. Two individuals aboard managed to escape the aircraft as it subsequently sank over the bay. It was later raised, but is declared a total loss.
Registration VH-AQG of the aircraft was canceled May 11, 1948. It is now used by a Cessna Turbo Stationair TC, registered in South Australia.
