Ryanair flight FR9561, a Boeing 737-8AS, returned to Faro Airport shortly "due to a tech issue with the aircraft," according to an airline spokesperson.
The aircraft landed normally on runway 28, one hour and 25 minutes after takeoff.
On landing it "experienced a minor tyre issue on the runway," according to the airline. A video of the aircraft shows the inner tire on the left-hand main gear had deflated.
