Narrative:A drone (1.4 m long, 2.8 m wide and weights 7 kg) of United States Force was missing during training flight at Japan Grand Self-Defense Force East Fuji Maneuver Area. It is suspected that the drone was blown out of the area, near to Fuji Heigen Golf Club, due to strong wind. There were no reported ground damage.
AMeDAS at Gotenba (located at 6 kilometers southeast of the accident site) reports southwest wind at 7.7 m/s (15 kt) at the time.
