Narrative:
The Boeing C-32A's aft fuselage struck the runway during the landing sequence, causing a tail strike. The incident was classified as a Class A mishap, meaning it caused damage of more than $2.5 million. The aircraft safely flew back to its home base at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland on March 24th and underwent repairs and upgrades at Greenville Majors Airport until January 2024 when the jet became operational with the USAF again
