Narrative:THE PILOT IN-COMMAND DID NOT MAINTAIN DIRECTIONAL CONTROL OF THE AIRPLANE. FACTORS WERE THE PIC'S INADEQUATE COMPENSATION FOR THE WIND, HIS LIMITED FLIGHT EXPEREINCE IN THIS TYPE OF AIRPLANE, AND THE CHECK AIRMAN'S POOR SUPERVISION.
