Probable Cause: THE PILOT'S POOR IN FLIGHT PLANNING IN THAT HE DIVERTED HIS ATTENTION AND CONTINUED THE FLIGHT BEYOND THE ORIGINAL PERIOD PLANNED. BEFORE TAKEOFF THE PILOT WAS AWARE OF HIS FUEL ENDURANCE.
