Narrative:WHILE ATTEMPTING TO LAND IN STRONG CROSSWIND CONDITIONS, THE PLT LOST DIRECTIONAL CONTROL. THE ACFT VEERED OFF THE RUNWAY AND WAS SUBSTANTIALLY DAMAGED. THE WINDS WERE GUSTING OVER 40 KNOTS, WITH OCCASIONAL GUSTS OF 60 KNOTS.
