THE PILOT ATTEMPTED A GLACIER LANDING IN DAYLIGHT CONDITIONS AND WAS UNABLE TO MAINTAIN SURFACE REFERENCE. HE FLEW ONTO THE ICE AND LOST CONTROL IN VARYING SURFACE WINDS.
